Stagehand is an all-in-one motor controller. Built from the ground up for theatre, Stagehand makes it easy to automate scenery using AC or DC motors.

  Everything you need to run a motor is packed in a case roughly the size of a tower computer. Plug in some power & ethernet and your ready to control your winch, turntable, or any motorized machine. There's no need for racks of equipment or proprietary interconnect cables, just plop a Stagehand next to every motor you want to control.

• Versatile

  Stagehand comes in three models to control the most popular motors. From 1/4hp DC motors to 5hp AC motors, there is a Stagehand that will do the job.

• Standardized

  The Stagehand provides common connectors for limit switches, encoder, brake, motor, and emergency stop. Our machines come pre-wired to connect to Stagehand, but you can easily wire your existing machines to be compatible using a Plug Pack.

• Excellent Performance

  Our new Stagehand AC model uses the Mitsubishi A700 series variable frequency drive for spectacular low-speed torque and full torque at zero-speed. The Stagehand DC models continue to use the venerable Minarik RG series drives for reliable four-quadrant regenerative speed control.

• Safe

  The Stagehand comes ready to accept over-travel limit switches and Showstopper emergency stop signals to insure that all motion can be halted in an instant if a troubles arise.
